Subani Maheshwari

Subani Maheshwari is a psychiatrist, children’s book author, and mom of two young girls. She is passionate about creating stories that help children grow into emotionally strong, confident, and empathetic individuals.

Her debut, Rainbow, Rainbow in the Sky, was inspired by her daughters’ curiosity about rainbows. She went on to publish Melody the Unicorn and the Beauty Within, which encourages children to recognize their strengths, Melody the Unicorn’s Big Worry, which helps children understand and manage anxiety, and The Brave New Kid – Ari Stands Up to Bullying, a heartfelt story about courage, kindness, and speaking up.

When she’s not writing, Subani enjoys coffee-filled mornings, board games with her daughters, and turning everyday moments into new story ideas.
