Hugo takes his love of cooking from his Italian family background, his aunt and grandmother.After training at L'Academie de Cuisine, Hugo ran Seasons, his catering business, and for ten years he and his wife, Carol, owned and cooked for their bed and breakfast on the Chesapeake Bay.Now he keeps a close eye on cooking technique and flavor profiles for the 5$ Foodie team, creating recipes that honor long-held cultural traditions.He and Carol live on Cape Cod where Hugo works as an artist.
