Alex MacDonald

Born in London (1978) to an English father and a Spanish mother from whom she inherited her love of literature and art, Alex worked as a clinical scientist and an English teacher before she started to write and illustrate children’s stories. She currently lives in the Madrilenian Sierra with her husband, two children, a dog and a cat. The experience of raising bilingual children has shown her the importance of introducing a second language in early childhood and inspired her to write her stories in both Spanish and English.

Nacida en Londres (1978), de padre inglés y madre española, de quienes heredó su pasión por el arte y la literatura.

Alex ha trabajado como científica y profesora de inglés antes de ser autora e ilustradora de cuentos infantiles.

Actualmente vive felizmente en la sierra de Madrid con su marido, dos niños, un perro y un gato. Es una familia bilingüe, que la ha inspirado para escribir este cuento en ambos idiomas.
