Kevin Cox is the author of the Bewilderness series, beginning with the Kirkus-starred Bewilderness, named one of Kirkus Reviews’ Best Indie Books of 2022. He writes science fantasy about mysterious worlds, fractured realities, and young people searching for where they belong.

Though he never planned to be a writer, Kevin often found himself imagining stories and characters, ideas sparked by long drives and the music that inspires him. When he finally sat down to write a single chapter, he discovered a passion he didn’t know he had. His writing draws inspiration from growing up in the 80s, immersed in the golden age of fantasy and science fiction books, movies, and music.

Kevin believes that great stories are driven by relatable characters, each facing struggles and finding the strength to overcome them. Through his work, he hopes readers will see reflections of their own journeys and feel inspired to grow, connect with others, and embrace their potential. Themes of friendship, resilience, and self-discovery are central to his storytelling.

Kevin lives in Leesburg, a small town in southwest Georgia, where he enjoys playing guitar and video games when he isn’t writing. With a track record of delivering critically acclaimed stories, Kevin continues to create adventures that resonate with readers of all ages.
