Clyde Woolman

Clyde has been a teacher, counselor, and a principal of an elementary, a middle, and three high schools. He completed a six- year stint as a Superintendent (CEO) of a school district before re-engaged neurons led him to voluntarily announce a return to a school. With a multitude of keynote speeches, workshop presentations and school-review reports, at one time Clyde could fling edubabble around as well as most. He often tried, occasionally with success, to find the humor that lay behind and beyond the peculiarities and foibles that can abound when a location called school is your workplace.

Clyde is the author of two satirical novels on education, Hepting's Road: A Novel of Teaching and Dragons at the Schoolhouse Door: A Novel of Schooling. He has also written two humor glossaries for educators (Edubabble and High-School Edubabble), and two young-adult adventure novels emphasizing themes of tolerance, trust and friendship (Smugglers at the Lighthouse and Yurek:Edge of Extinction).
