Cassie is a dynamic Yorkshire-based artist, writer, and all-round good egg, renowned for her captivating comics and YouTube series, Marla Day Doodles.

In a past life, Cassie was a primary school teacher though after struggling with severe burnout, she left the classroom and studied an MBA with Psychology specialism, Positive Psychology through the University of Pennsylvania and Executive Coaching at the University of Cambridge, to find a way to prevent others in high pressure roles from experiencing the same. She’s also about to embark upon a masters in Planetary Science later in the year because… reasons.

Cassie has been featured in several media outlets, including the BBC, Fox News, Marketwatch, CBS News and NBC News, and was a guest author in 2 bestselling anthologies.

Cassie is also the founder of Complex PTSD UK (CIC) a non profit organisation which aims to raise awareness and improve support opportunities for those impacted by the condition.
