Magnus Persson is a Swedish pastor and writer. His theological journey from a profiled pentecostal pastor and church planter, to an ordained Verbi Divini Minister and evangelical-lutheran pastor in the Church of Sweden for ministry in EFS National Department, has created attention in the headlines.
Magnus is a frequent preacher in many different contexts and an international conference speaker, as well as a diligent writer as a regular contributor of articles in Christian magazines. He has published three books in Swedish: »Kristi kyrka - om kyrkans kännetecken« (EFS Budbäraren, 2017) and “Som ringar på vattnet - om nådens rörelse från förtvivlan till förvandling« (EFS Budbäraren, 2020) and his latest book "Helkyrklighet - om kyrkans fullhet" (EFS Budbäraren 2022), as well as one book in English: »Reclaiming the Reformation - Christ for You in Community« (1517 Publishing, 2021).
He currently operates as a pastor in EFS - a missional renewal movement in the Church of Sweden - working from the headquarter in Uppsala in the department for church development and collaborations, as well as traveling extensively preaching and teaching.
Magnus is the founder and coordinator of the Re:form network and think tank, in which the term and concept »whole church« is profiled and presented. He hosts the weekly podcast Re:formera where conversations about all things church takes place with new guests every Friday.
He is married to Gunilla since 32 years They have three children and two grandsons.
