Les Dakens

Les Dakens is widely recognized for his leadership in developing best practices as one of North America’s top human resources professionals. After more than thirty years working in human resources for top-tier companies, Les began his own next season in 2016 with MyNextSeason Canada, where he serves as Managing Director and Partner. He is the author SwitchPoints: Culture Change on the Fast Track to Business Success; Employee Performance Scorecards: Creating a Win-Win Formula for Your Organization; and The Real Deal on People: Straight Talk on How the CHRO Creates Business Value.

He spends his time between Lake of Bays and Naples with Ray an Rose, and is looking to forward sharing more stories of their continued adventures. He is currently creating a series of children's books about how to overcome major life-changing obstacles such as living with blindness. Ray, his dog, will be narrating his misadventures and fears.

In addition, Les is writing his first fiction novel, finding redemption through the eyes of a pet.
