Leonie Althea is a Jamaican-American writer and indie publisher. She was born in Spanish Town, Catherine, where she attended St Jago High School. Growing up, Leonie loved watching Jamaican programs like Lime Tree Lane and Hill an' Gully Ride, which helped spark her imagination. Leonie began writing poetry at a young age, which led her to a marketing and advertising career. She holds a degree from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
