J. K. Knauss is the author of Seven Noble Knights, Our Lady's Troubadour, Empress of Misfortune, and "Footsteps" in We All Fall Down.

She earned her PhD in medieval Spanish literature and decided to bring these thrilling stories to a wider reading public. After trying out many places in the United States and England, she lives in Spain, where she can step out her door and touch the past she she writes about.
