E. Lawrence Brock

Larry Brock was uniquely prepared for what at one time he thought was the “boring” area of law, Probate, and Estate Planning. During undergraduate and law school, he worked for the Los Angeles Daily Journal, spending three or four days a week in the Los Angeles Probate Court and having three or four lunches & dinners at various bar association meetings.

In 1980 he began practicing law in Los Angeles, and for the first ten years, he handled almost every type of case imaginable. He eventually moved to Salt Lake in 1987 when he married Joyce and took over the role of father to her three children. At that time, he had three children, and they added two more. The family moved to Southern California in 1989, and Larry did insurance defense for five years.

Eventually, in 1995 his practice began focusing on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. In 2015, he moved from the Inland Empire (if you do not know where that is, LA is one of its suburbs) to St. George, Utah. In St. George, he offers Attorney-Assisted Internet Estate Planning, Purposeful Legacy Estate Planning, traditional brick-and-mortar

planning, and Domestic Asset Protection Trusts.

He is licensed to practice law in California since 1980 and Utah since 1987.

He graduated from Southwestern University College of law with a Juris Doctor in 1979 after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in English from California State University at Los Angeles.

He has been an officer of several professional organizations and a speaker at many continuing legal education programs.

He is an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, a Certified Legacy Advisor by SunBridge, and a member of the Purposeful Planning Institute.
