Brandy C. Goyson-Kendrick is a mother, sister, neighbor, and friend to those who love and know her. Brandy is a licensed minister serving at Victory Bible Church in El Dorado, Arkansas under the pastoral leadership of Rory and Sherlynn Green. She is a community activist and cheerleader for the "underdog". Brandy holds a Master of Science degree in higher education with a certificate in Academic Advising. She currently works for a local team in the capacity of manager of client care coordination. Brandy is a licensed funeral director as well as owner and operator of K & G Mortuary Transport Services.
Brandy, too, has experienced the challenges brought to a single mother of three during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to many other obstacles faced during the pandemic, Brandy lost her father (2019) and her mother (2020) who succumbed to cancer. Brandy took on the role of caregiver to her mother while maintaining a home for her children and working to ensure ends were met. During this perilous time, Brandy found peace in meditation and prayer. She launched a successful Facebook Live Midnight Prayer and authored this book which shows the power of our sovereign Lord! The Lord reigns in Brandy's life.
Brandy is a divorcee and the proud parent of three beloved children whom she refers to as "Her Blessings". D’Torriond, Na’Jyrae, & Christian proudly call her "Mom". Brandy is also the proud mother to her fur baby, “Majesty” Brandy’s desire is to pave the way for those who struggle with their identity, financial bondage, bad relationships, and brokenness while wearing a mask of shame, guilt, and rejection. Brandy has been able to triumph in a litany of areas while playing a multiplicity of roles including mother, wife, daughter, sister, coworker, and entrepreneur. In this book, Brandy hopes that you will find redemption, wholeness, and your own unique identity. She desires that you would push past your current situation and walk circumspectly in the calling that God has bestowed upon you. Know that God can do EXCEEDINGLY and ABUNDANTLY above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).
