Brad Heyen

I have lived in Wichita, Kansas all my life. Married for 32 years, four children, and five grandchildren. I have been in banking for 33 years. I published my first book, Eighteen Years: Seth Growing up in Foster Care, in 2021 and am currently working on my next one.

My inspiration for the fictional story of Seth comes form my time on the Board of Directors with Kansas Children’s Service League for the past 13 years. As a child and family focused non-profit I know the challenges many kids have in life. I was adopted into an amazing family as an infant and so I know I was blessed. I hope to spread some hope to others as well.
