Since 1988, Michelle has taught in Colorado, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, and has served in parochial and public schools. After teaching in a traditional classroom for several years, she transitioned to the private sector as a software test engineer. Michelle returned to education – her first love – as a Technology Coordinator and math teacher. Over the years, she has received multiple certifications in mathematics, engineering education, and STEM educational leadership. She is the proud recipient of the 2021-2022 Project Lead the Way (Engineering) Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award.
Michelle Ming is the Director of PLTW/Engineering for Archbishop Carroll High School (ACHS) in Washington, D.C. She has been married for 28 years to Fuller Ming, Jr., Associate Minister of the Bowie Church of Christ. Together, they have two adult children.
