Byron A. Mezick
Byron A. Mezick (Sergeant U.S. Marine Corps) served in Vietnam with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines before serving with Headquarters Company, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division as the squad leader of Combined Action Platoons in Loc Dien and Loc Bon villages. Following his enlistment in the Marine Corps, Byron began a 35-year career as a broadcast technician with NBC News in NW Washington, DC. Byron and his wife Diana have been married for more than fifty years and have two daughters, Brenda Mezick and Bethany Rantfl.
