Jorge Rivas Rivas

Born in Altamira de Cáceres (Venezuela) in 1956. Lives in Paris since 1979. Author photographer since 1992. His photographic work is exhibited regularly in France and Venezuela, and two of his photographic series have been published: "Artistes-Latino-américains à Paris" (Monte Avila-Alliance Française, 1998), and "Mi pueblo" (Filigranes Éditions-CENAF, 2007). A third book “Mon Par(i)s is in preparation.

In 2003, Jorge Rivas Rivas turned to literary writing. He follows the writing workshops of Anne Ducrocq, and those of Elisabeth Bing, where he attends the short story workshop of Isabelle Marcat Maheu, and that of the novel by Marianne Jaeglé. In 2018, he published on Amazon a first collection of short-stories "La Baronne" (bilingual French-Spanish edition). A second collection appears in 2021 “… Y nunca volvieron a París”. A French translation of the latter collection is in preparation.
