Zoe Walker

Zoe Walker is 20 years old but still a child at heart.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, she is the only child of two liberal professors and former hippies and the favorite nanny of many preschool children. While working part-time in childcare, she is studying to become a music teacher and creating her own children’s books.

Zoe wrote her first (unpublished) story Where Did That Squirrel Go? at 7 years old. Her inspiration was a squirrel that crossed paths with her in the park and disappeared promptly before she could touch it. She still thinks her mother should have let her follow it.

In her free time, Zoe enjoys going to the library, coming up with nursery rhymes, and painting semi-successfully.

On weekends, you will most likely find her feeding animals in Tilden Park and volunteering at local non-profit organizations. If you do, make sure to say hi!
