John Robinson

John is a poet, designer, photographer and artist living in the beautiful semi-rural village of Marple on the edges of the Peak Forest Canal. From an early age John’s passion lay in writing poetry and short stories.

Over the years John’s poems have been featured in numerous anthologies and pamphlets. Terraces & Temples is John’s debut collection of poetry inspired by the ups and downs of family life and the beauty and ethereal magic of nature.

With a fascination for the surreal and a gift for finding the magic in the mundane John’s poetry hones in on the sadness of the human condition but is ultimately filled with love and hope.

John lives with his wife and daughter and in his spare time he enjoys long walks in the country, tea and cake, a good roaring fire and listening to The Beatles.
