Norman Musa

Norman Musa is an award winning chef, author, tutor, tv host and entrepreneur. He was born in Malaysia and moved to the UK at the age of 19 to pursue his study in Quantity Surveying. He is a self-taught chef and started his chef profession at the age of 32.

He was awarded as the UK’s Young Asian & Oriental Chef of the Year Award in 2012 and received the Hospitality Guild's Young Hall of Fame Award at the Asian Curry Award that was held in London. He was appointed as the Kuala Lumpur Food Ambassador in 2015 by the KL Mayor to promote Kuala Lumpur as the gastronomic city to the European market. His Amazing Malaysian cookbook was published in 2016 and translated in Dutch in 2019.

Based in London, he runs series of Masterclasses for Malaysian and Southeast Asian cuisines in the UK and Netherlands, and work as a freelance consultant for new restaurant kitchen setup, restaurant menu and provide full kitchen team training.
