DEWAYNE RUCKER is a lifelong Missourian. His debut novella, Swift Justice: The Clandestine Protectors, and its sequel, Patriot Partners, is a culmination of nearly four decades working state and federal law enforcement. During this career, he served on protection details for state governors, dignitaries, and Federal Courthouse security. Travel around the country produced ideas for creating suspense, action, drama, of contemporary fiction. Now retired, he enjoys developing storylines for his next novel. He and his wife live near their son, daughter, and six grandchildren.
