Michael P. Burns

I am a native of Miami, Florida and left to attend law school in California. I have practiced law in California since 2005 and currently live in San Jose. Having an interest in true crime and unsolved mysteries for decades, I wrote my first book, "The Flat Tire Murders: Unsolved Crimes of a South Florida Serial Killer," published in 2021 by McFarland & Company. The book explores a series of unsolved murders in South Florida in 1975-1976 known as the "Canal Murders" and "The Flat Tire Murders." It is my hope in writing this book that public interest will encourage law enforcement to solve these crimes and bring justice to the victims and their families.
