Dr. Chandrashekhar Pardeshi
Dr Chandrashekhar Pardeshi, MBBS, DGO, MD, is a senior Indian physician, integrative medicine expert, and internationally recognised authority in clinical acupuncture. With over 45 years of experience in modern medicine as a practising obstetrician and gynaecologist, he brings unmatched clinical depth and diagnostic clarity to his work.
Over the past two decades, I have dedicated myself to mastering and applying evidence-based acupuncture, particularly in conditions where conventional treatments often provide limited or temporary relief. My clinical focus includes chronic pain management, neurogenic disorders, functional illnesses, and rehabilitation—areas where acupuncture offers safe, effective, and non-drug solutions.
As a Government Registered Acupuncturist and Government Recognised Professor of Acupuncture, and former Vice President of the Maharashtra Acupuncture Council, I have actively contributed to the development of structured acupuncture education in India. I have also played a role in shaping diploma and degree curricula, helping bring scientific credibility and academic rigour to acupuncture training.
My approach to acupuncture is firmly rooted in modern anatomy, neurophysiology, and evidence-based medicine. I am known for introducing practical innovations such as non-retentive needling techniques, neurohormonal models of acupuncture action, and simplified, clinically relevant teaching methods designed especially for medical professionals.
Modern Acupuncture: Learn From The Master is the culmination of my lifelong clinical experience, teaching, and research. Through this work, I aim to bridge the gap between Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern biomedical science, making acupuncture more understandable, acceptable, and clinically effective for today’s practitioners and students.
Based in Nashik, India, I continue to practice, teach, and guide patients and professionals. My mission is simple—to promote rational, ethical, and patient-centred healthcare, helping people reduce pain, avoid unnecessary surgery, and make informed medical decisions.
