Charles Lopez Bruns

Charles Lopez was born to Cuban immigrants who settled in New York City before the Revolution. After his parents divorced and he returned from an extended stay in Cuba, he began learning to speak English. Five years later his mother remarried, the family moved to New Jersey and he became known as Charles Bruns. He began working as a journalist while a teenager and launched his corporate communication career during his time at Seton Hall University. Along the way, he married and raised a family. But he's never stopped thinking about who he is and what he's not or writing in his second language.
