Alexandra Claire grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA, earning a degree in English Literature. Always interested in writing and books, Alexandra worked throughout high school and college on newspaper staffs, and after finishing college started a career in book publishing. Alexandra lives in Bonita, California with her family, along with a large cadre of silly animals that inspire her titles . . . Teddy the dog, Hufflepuff the cat, Pippa the pony, and Blackbeard the parrot.
