Dawson Preethi

Dawson Preethi, a dedicated structural engineer with 26 years of experience, has spent the past two decades delving into quantum mechanics, philosophy, literature, and psychoanalysis—a journey of self-discovery that has enriched his life and work. Over his career, he has contributed to projects across Egypt, Cameroon, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, including his recent role in the prestigious NEOM project for the NEOM Islands. Dawson holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and an MSc in Structural and Foundation Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in the UK. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he lives in Sri Lanka with his wife, continuing to explore the intersections of his professional and intellectual pursuits.
