Dannie Raines

Dannie Raines is an UCLA graduate with a degree in journalism and communications. She is tickled to be collaborating with her earth science, meteorology-loving husband, Dallas Raines, Chief Meteorologist of KABC. The couple is passionate about their mission of serving our youth by exciting and educating readers about the earth sciences and our wacky weather. Dannie loves morphing her husband/nutty professor's tales of weather woes and educational information of our climate into narratives of grand adventure and fun! They hope the children will have as much fun reading as the couple did creating these tales of their family pet, Chester, the Pawsome Weather Pup!
