Heidi Love

Emerging from violent crime as a child, Heidi Love embarked on a five-year, 12,000 nautical-mile sailing odyssey from Maine to French Polynesia. Raging storms and PTSD flashbacks at sea uncovered repressed memories and threatened her life, inspiring her toward greater healing. In order to survive PTSD during storms at sea, she created Knowing Acts, a self-help book of therapist-approved exercises, to provide an automatic calming practice.
