Isabel Senior

Isabel Senior realized at the age of nine that she had to explore the world. At fifteen, she moved to France for a year, despite knowing no one and not speaking the language. In every moment since then, she has put herself in situations where she can meet people who are different from herself. This love of people and desire to understand them led her to study psychology and creative writing at Duke University.

Her first novel, To Know a Stranger, is about two strangers from two extremely different parts of the world sharing a fleeting moment.
