Daniel Updike was born on December 11, 1968 into the home of
a devout Pentecostal preacher. He was raised within the
evangelical environment and was trained theologically as a
minister himself.
From the early age of four years old, Daniel experienced
paranormal phenomenon including the artistic inspiration to
“draw” what in later investigation turned out to be eighteen of
the twenty-nine classical Anglo-Saxon Futhorc runes. This
tension between the dogmatic assertions of evangelical theology,
and the continual anomalous experiences that seem to
contradict these assertions, went on until Daniel was in his midteens.
At that time Daniel began to research paranormal
phenomenon, the runes of the Germanic tribes, and the practice
of ritual magic. This was kept secret from those within his family
for obvious reasons.
In his early 20s Daniel began to work exclusively with occult
practice centered on Hermeticism; Ceremonial Magic; the
practices of Rune Magic and Seidhr. This led him down many
“rabbit holes” and through both successes and failures brought
him to the place where an understanding (in a way that is
possible within the universe of limitation) of what we really are
as sentient beings within this multiverse – and beyond!
After a devastating experience while at work in Northern
Alberta, in which he had his heart deliberately stopped at the
hospital as a (last ditch effort to correct a problem he had
experienced since birth) there was a desire on Daniel’s part to
impart some of the things that he had been able to learn so that
others may be able to benefit from and perhaps even create their
own system of personal growth.
Daniel is always said that he was better at doing video
productions and audio broadcasts than writing, but regardless
of which this book has been written for your benefit and
hopefully it is something that you will be able to use successfully
in your growth!
Daniel and his wife practice magic together and are currently
residing in Alberta Canada.
