Ihab Botros was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in June of 1972. At the age of twenty-three, he moved to Ontario, Canada, where he married his wife, Dahlia. They currently live in Mississauga, Ontario. Ihab, a professional software engineer, holds a degree in computer engineering from Alexandria University. He is also a graduate of the Royal Schools of Music, previously a piano teacher, church organist, and enjoys sharing his love of classical music as a chorister with local choirs. He last held the position of product management director at one of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies before he was placed on long-term disability. Ihab was diagnosed and lived with kidney disease since his teenage years. In 2011, he experienced end-stage kidney failure and underwent multiple life-sustaining kidney dialysis methods. Eventually he received a living kidney transplant from his loving wife. Unfortunately, her donated kidney, attacked by his disease, failed only three days later. He was immediately placed on hemodialysis for life support and remains today on hemodialysis. Connect with author on Facebook @oneneedleatatime
