Sayeda Qader

Sayeda Qader is a writer, poet, and social impact leader creating sustainable, community-driven solutions for communities affected by humanitarian crises. She is the Founder & Executive Director of The Kalaam Project, a nonprofit organization developing innovative and culturally rooted models of humanitarian aid that prioritize dignity, long-term resilience, and community-led recovery. She is the author of two poetry collection, where she blends creative expression with thought-focused reflections on today’s political climate, identity, and belonging.

A recognized leader in her field, Sayeda is a GBOMA finalist and a winner of the Afghan American Scholarship Fund, and she has represented the Kalaam Project as a speaker at international conferences, sharing insights on community-led solutions and humanitarian impact. Through her storytelling and humanitarian work, she continues to build systems of care that honor narratives, restore agency, and spark meaningful transformation.
