Jill Gould (MSc PGDip SFHEA, QN, BSc SPQDN, RGN) has been a registered nurse since 1983, and trained in St. John's Newfoundland as one of the "General girls". She gained her District Nurse and prescribing qualifications in the UK in 1999 and has a worked as a Senior Lecturer since 2006. She was Programme Leader for the Non-medical (Independent and supplementary) prescribing programmes at the University of Derby for 5 years. She is a Queen's Nurse, a member of the Association for Prescribers and the Association of District Nurse and Community Nurse Educators. Having spent her formative nursing years in Canada, Jill is an avid supporter of community, District Nursing and prescribing by nurses and midwives.
