Author Bio

Harshita Nanda trained as an engineer before becoming a full-time writer. Her stories have a strong emotional quotient with a streak of feminism. Avoiding unnecessary drama, she focuses on the universal appeal of human emotions.

She published her first book, Xanadu: Three Souls Searching For Paradise, in 2021, followed by BITS and Pieces: A Collage of My BITSian Memories, in 2022, Potpourri of Drabble: A Collection of 100 micro-tales in 2023 and Love Awaits, a tale Of Unbroken Promises in 2025.

She was one of the shortlisted candidates for the Rama Mehta Writing Grant, 2023. Her short stories have found a home in many anthologies, such as The Blogchatter Book Of Thrillers and Lightning Strikes, An Anthology of Flash Fiction by Indian Writers. Her flash fiction pieces were a part of the National Flash Flood, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Her words have appeared on websites like Kitaab, Women’s Web and SheThePeople, as well as literary magazines like The Porch Literary Magazine and Roi Faineant Press.
