Rod P Couser

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, I travelled extensively around the world as a manufacturing executive for a large public company. For a decade I travelled throughout Canada, the United Kingdom, China, Korea, Romania and Poland with many stops in between. With up to 250 days a year on the road, most all international, I spent a lot of time on airplanes where I was more likely to read a book than watch a movie and it wasn't long before I was hooked on thrillers, crime dramas, and adventure genres.

Finding myself in places I never thought I would ever be, I had always made it a point to list places and names that stood out in my travels. For over twenty years, I kept these scrapes of paper, thinking someday I might try and write a story of my own, but it wasn’t until I finally began thinking of retirement, or at least slowing down, that I more seriously began to investigate a plot that could work for a fictional novel. Given my love for science, the idea of Sara Ricci came to life on a trip to Italy.

I have a great time thinking of the stories, doing research and writing and truly hope you enjoy, Deadly Dissertation, and all of Sara's adventures. I'm still new at this and thank you for the patience to get through any errors that I have made. As always, if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear from you. My email is rpcouser@gmail.com and I’m working on a website to help with communication. Thanks.
