Judy Lindquist

A born and raised Bostonian, Judy Lindquist has called Florida home for more than 30 years now. Married to her high school sweetheart for over 40 years, it was his job transfer that brought them south all those years ago. A life-long educator, Judy has been an elementary school teacher for 28 years. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) , where she has been teaching future teachers for 19 years. A frequent presenter at education and writing conferences, Judy is passionate about all things education.

Judy’s love of reading, writing, and history come together when she writes. She has had three award winning middle grades novels traditionally published so far and absolutely loves doing author visits to classes that have read her books when studying history.

When not teaching, planning to teach, or writing, Judy loves to cook, garden, read, and spend time with her two delightful granddaughters.
