Kenney Oldham Hayes

Kenney Hayes is a published author and has written numerous articles for major publication magazines connected to mortgage banking as well as a variety of local newspapers articles addressing the mortgage industry. She is a results oriented business woman with excellent mix of strong leadership abilities. She served in the mortgage banking industry for 35 years and has more than 20 years of senior management experiences with some of the largest and most prominent financial institutions as well as owning her own mortgage business.

“What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?” was the first official book Kenney had written. It was co-authored by long-time friend Marlene Hamilton published by Pelican in 2001. “Dream Coaches” was also co-authored by these two women and picked up by Pelican, but then released. In 2019 Kenney’s new book “The Bark of a Tree…untold stories of Dr. Earl K. Oldham” was published by Christian Faith Publishing.

Ms. Hayes has been a motivational speaker for women’s issues in the US and Japan encouraging them to live out their God-given dreams. Retirement in 2009 began a process of giving back to the community. She has been a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for 14 years representing the voice of abused and abandoned children in court. She has had an active role in a 100- year-old tradition in her community’s outreach and has volunteered her time, talents and energy for 25 years. She was an Executive Director of a National Women’s Scholarship program serving twelve years.

Kenney is a musician, pianist, vocalist, and continue to write contemporary gospel music. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington as well as various specialized governmental operations agency schools for finance and mortgage banking. She’s been married 50 years with two daughters, three grandchildren, and resides with her husband and two Yorkshire terriers outside of Seattle.
