Douglas Simpson

Doug Simpson is a seasoned political writer, campaign strategist, and lobbyist who has recently retired to northern Idaho. He has directed 123 campaigns spanning 30 years. He served in the Republican House caucus in Washington State as legislative counselor helping newly elected legislators to keep their promises, in order to truly serve their constituents. His hope is that Looking For America may help everyday Americans to cut through the media one-sided messaging and see what is at the heart of the troubling myths and fables that shape our political ideology. His desire is to see America restored to her greatness as that Shining City on a hill. Simpson is a four-year Marine Corps and Vietnam veteran.
