Dr. Cheryl Davis DNP. MSN RN, is a nursing instructor who strives to help new nursing students succeed in the most difficult nursing course---medical-surgical nursing. She noticed as she lectured content, many students had trouble organizing content.

So she developed the study guide as a resource to help the student organize note take and at the same time promote critical thinking through unfolding case studies, care planning, and concept mapping. This guide will help the nursing student organize and understand medical surgical content to promote student success! She is a nursing instructor at Triton College and also an adjunct instructor in the RN to BSN program at Benedictine University.
