Nicky Lintott

Nicky is a quilt designer and author based in West Sussex, UK. She has worked alongside her mother, Pam, at The Quilt Room which Pam began in 1981 and successfully ran for an incredible 42 years.

In 2023, they decided it was the right time to close their store and focus fully on designing, making quilts, creating patterns and continuing to writing books.

Nicky has co-authored more than 15 books on pre-cut fabrics, including the hugely successful Jelly Roll Quilts, which remains a bestseller more than 15 years after its release. She also contributes regularly to quilting magazines. Their latest book, Layer Cake Quilts will be published in October 2026.

Nicky lives in West Sussex, UK with her husband Rob, and their three children and slightly cheeky cocker spaniel, Nelly.
