Niharika Shah

When faced with uncomfortable growth and change, Niharika Shah turned to poetry, and wrote what would later become her debut collection, Strawberries Under Skin. She explores love and heartbreak through her work, while amending her relationships, acknowledging her self-perceptions, and redefining “home". She has conducted several Open Mics and workshops across the United States, and loves sharing her knowledge with budding writers — especially those in her home country of India.

Shah juggles her creative pursuits with a career in data analytics and a musical ability using the piano as an outlet, composing originals and playing her favorite indie bands. A self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, Niharika finds inspiration in soulful music, romantic dramas, and her two adorable shih-tzus.
