JANE E. RUTH

JANE E. RUTH is a retired nurse who worked

forty-seven years in the medical field. She

has lived in the Boquete area in Panama for

twelve years.

As Secretary / Treasurer of Cleft of

the Rock Ministries, Jane works with the

Ngäbe people, mainly on the comarca.

During her ministry, Jane noticed that

the Ngäbe had few books for children. She has

published a concept book Chalina la cerdita

cuenta hasta diez en ngäbere (Chalina

counts to ten in Ngäbere) in 2021.

Bella & Chantey is her first picture book which

also involves the Ngäbe Comarca. Two coloring books

have joined the list ,Bella & Chantey Rainforest Animals,

and A Coloring book about Ngäbes.

Jane has recently published Beyond the YELLOW DOOR, a story about

a British Guyana girl who is curious and intrigued as to

what is behind the yellow door.This book has a Gold Medal from Mom's Choice Awards, and Global Award Finalist for Children's General Fiction award. Two Gold Book Awards from Literary Titan for Nathan Neque and Bella & Chantey Mama Wants a Blue Mushroom.

She is currently writing a Nite NIte series for toddlers.
