Robert Cote

Robert Cote was born in southeastern New England where he has lived almost his entire life. He has spent most of his adult career working in leadership roles in the region’s technology and financial companies as well as collaborating on independent projects related to the environment.

Over the years, Robert developed a strong affinity for film noir and detective stories that date from the late 1930s to the present day. This affinity shows in his references to past fiction writers and film noir actors in his books. He and his wife Louise have been married for more than thirty five years and currently reside in New England. Both are involved in civic activities and environmental projects.

In addition to fiction, he has written about the environment in “Saving the Planet, a Conservative’s Guide” and technology in the currently out of print thesis “Managing Technical Change in a Financial Organization”.
