I'm a 25 year old singer songwriter and author. Love my cat, cocktails, sushi, am a Hufflepuff and have a new album called Castles out now under Miserableisobel on everything. I write most of my songs, and books, about mental illness and relationships. Both have shaped who I am and I am passionate about changing the stigma around mental illnesses such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, personality disorders and schizophrenia. I find that there are more socially acceptable illnesses such an anxiety and depression, yet it is often the more violent end of mental illness that leaves you hospitalised. Having had psychosis myself I can honestly say it's painful and traumatic enough without then having to explain it to others. All mental health should be spoken about to raise awareness.
