Rare Adoption Books

*Did you know that 100% of all adult adoptees in the United States and around the world surveyed in 2019 believed they should have access to their adoption documents and original birth certificates if they so wish? However, due to antiquated adoption laws developed and refined by pioneering evangelicals, adoptees--even into their elder years--are not permitted access to information that all other humans on earth are able to obtain for themselves.

The collection was compiled by adult adoptees, families separated by adoption, and parents of loss. The research and investigational work are influenced by the cofounders of Adoption Truth & Transparency Worldwide Information Network (ATTWIN), Korean Adoptees Worldwide, and Against Child Trafficking. These narratives offer an additional look at the history of adoption, which spans four hundred years and includes a wide range of perspectives on adoption from domestic, late-discovery, transracial, and intercountry adult adoptees. Most books are not intended for children, and vitally important if you have been adopted or thinking about adopting.
