A Jill-of-all-trades, this great-great niece of Annie Oakley's has finally found her niche -- everything cowboy! Entertaining and storytelling runs through her veins (yes, she's a dead-eye), so she decided to simply embrace it all. Editor of the Western Heritage Institute's eZine and founder/event coordinator of the Cowboy Jubilee are just her 'part-time' jobs. She even teaches high school art in her spare time! Leslei wears many hats, but fortunately, they're all Cowboy hats!
Raised in the back of a '59 Pontiac station wagon she's managed to reside in nine states from coast to coast. Currently she lives with her husband Gene, a german shepherd, a border collie, and three cats, one who thinks he's a dog, in central Texas. The youngest cat has her own Facebook page, Miss Ceniza Pewter, the Feisty Diva.
Growing up with four brothers, feral housewife, Ms. Fisher can cook and sling hay, sew and hammer, and happily does it all. Look for more to come, "retiring is fer sissies," she's been known to say.
