J. Michael McIntyre

Mike McIntyre is a designer, teacher, and marketer who has an appreciation for classic picture books, fountain pens, paper airplanes, and mechanical windup toys – nostalgic items that share a simplicity and honesty that can be difficult to find in our increasingly complicated world. Mike strove to capture those qualities in Are They Alike? a story he felt compelled to tell after being inspired by his late wife's love of children's books. Mike lives in Wisconsin where he enjoys family and friends while continuing to search for "likes" among his nine grandchildren.
