Mr James Clancy

Over the years and in a lifetime, many people have suggested I could write a book. I have in a private capacity adapted poems to music, written imaginary tales, composed many sendups in a social and working environment for my own indulgence to specific audiences. The book was originally written for my children and grandchildren so that they may know what dad/grandad was really like. If you like it is my side of the story, my existence, and how I came about. The book is not to apportion blame for my life in the many paths that have chosen in my life. My poems in the book are from the feelings I was experiencing at the time of writing over a number of years. "Behind the Wall" by Carol Ellis, I found on a Facebook page St Patrick's Home and it summed up the experience I felt for thousands of children brought up in these institutions around the world and not just Ireland. In their memory, I read it and yes it brings a tear to my eye. The book has been written with emotion and understanding of my life, who I am, my passions on that journey.
