Erin A. Mitchell

Erin A. Mitchell is the author of Two Worlds (2020) and The Middle of Nowhere (2020). Her latest book, The Trauma Bond (2025) is available now.

In 2021 she was the outright winner of the QBD Books Staff Writing Competition, granting her a scholarship to a Mini Masterclass course with Fiona McIntosh in March that same year.

Her short story ‘The Afterlife’ was longlisted for the 2023 Mansfield Readers and Writers Short Story Competition and is published in their ‘Soul’ Anthology (2024).

Erin is enrolled in a Graduate Diploma of Writing and Literature at Deakin University, an is an alumna of the Faber Writing Academy's Writing a YA Novel program.

She and her husband live in Melbourne with their four-legged furry companions.
