Born into a south Indian brahmin family, I spent my childhood in Kabul, Afghanistan.
I have lived and worked in many countries - Europe, far- east and the middle east.
I paint, mostly with butter knives & blades on oils, a passion that started in Kabul. My other love is reading and so writing was a natural transition. I write in simple language - my characters are inspired by the people i meet during my travels.
As a daughter of an educationist, my exposure to multiple cultures and countries have shaped my personal beliefs and growth.
I am fluent in 6 languages, stemming from my desire to connect with people in their mother tongue.
After working for 2 decades in the corporate jungle, I quit whilst my sanity still prevailed.
I made the best decision of my life – to focus completely on my NGO, Healing Lives. Now all we do is try to Heal, 'one life at a time'.
Everything I do or have done are self-taught. Nothing is perfect. It is not meant to be. i believe, "there is no need to wait for miracles. change what is in your power and magic starts to happen".
