Barbara Fröhlich,

born in 1976 in the Ruhr region in Western Germany, loves language and stories. Crazy ideas are constantly hatching in her mind. What to do? Let them out and weave them into stories.

Her favorite animal is Tero, an endearing flying reptile with extra grasping arms and an "adventure pouch" on his belly. The illustrated children's novel "Tero sucht seinen Schwarm" ("Tero Searches for His Flock") tells the story of Tero’s adventures in western North Rhine-Westphalia and his quest to discover the true value of fellowship.
